Rev. Phyllis Harrell

Alliance for Community Peace is pleased to announce that Reverend Phyllis Harrell has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the agency. Reverend Harrell has been with Alliance for Community Peace (ACP) as the Chief Operating Officer since 2007 and has helped the organization nearly double in size, expand from serving youth on Chicago's north side to serving youth in the North, West, South and Near South Side communities, and employ hundreds of adults in the communities surrounding our offices.
"Reverend Harrell is a strong and compassionate leader, focused on maintaining the health, safety and well-being of our Black and Brown young people. She brings decades of creative, effective programming and fiscal management success to her new role. Sylvia Simpson
Executive Administrative Assistant
Alliance for Community Peace is pleased to announce Sylvia Simpson has been appointed Executive Administrative Assistant of the Agency. Sylvia Simpson has been with Alliance for Community Peace (ACP) since November of 2022 and has been a great asset to the Organization.
Sylvia has shown to be task-driven, meticulous, and equipped with the ability to support the day-to-day administrative, financial and operational functions by working side by side with the CEO Rev. Phyllis D. Harrell. Sylvia looks forward to growing the Organization with her team here at ACP.
